Otto Cornthwaite...
Otto Cornthwaite grew up fishing the alpine lakes, and small mountain streams of Southwest Montana. There he fished some of the most pristine waters in existence. Age the age of 19, he moved to Southeast Alaska, where the fish just got bigger. There he fished for all species of salmon, steelhead, dolly varden, halibut and trout.

He has been essential in the creation of Shields River Rods as the financial advisor, as well as helping us with the Oceanis and Beachcomber fly rod series. He often helps around the shop as well.
